After visiting Italy, the client wanted to add a Tuscan feel to their home and garden. The focus of the project was to create a patio that maximized the ocean view while providing protection from the hot southern exposure.
The concrete columns and arbor create shade for the travertine patio while providing the desired look of a Tuscan villa. An old cracked concrete driveway was broken up, chemically stained and reset with gravel and grass to create an old world look.
