With the house sitting on a ridge well above the street, the task was to create a practical yet dramatic entrance to the house. A water feature including falls, ponds and statuary adds interest to this unique entryway.
By excavating on the downhill side of the driveway, we created a faux bridge over the water feature. We designed a park-like setting for the expansive front yard. A pool, cascade and spa were added to the side yard adjacent to the house. Two groves of redwood trees screen neighbors views.
